Republican Maryland Governor Larry Hogan made it clear that he would not be voting for Donald Trump, the likely GOP nominee for Nov 8 election, whose outbursts against several American communities have left the Party leaders scratching their heads.
“No, I don’t plan to,” Hogan responded to a question on Wednesday, when asked pointedly if he would vote for the real estate tycoon.
“I guess when I get behind the curtain I’ll have to figure it out. Maybe write someone in. I’m not sure,” added the governor, who has favorable standing among diverse voters in the largely Democratic state.
Trump, meanwhile, continued to his attacks against Muslims in the wake of Sunday’s mass shooting in Orlando, Florida. The shooter, a U.S.-born citizen, was of Afghani descent Muslim couple.
Trump once again sought to link the problem of violence to Islam and propagated his plan to ban Muslim immigration into the United States, until, in his words, the country is able to figure out what is going on.
