Khan, who inaugurated a National Incubation Centre, said the project in capital Islamabad will alone harbor and prepare 40 startups every year.

Pakistan Software Export Board has increased the documented IT exports by 49% since 2013, just by reorganizing the processes, she noted.

Pakistan annual exports currently stand amount to $2.8 billion, a 100% jump from $1.4 billion recorded in 2013.

Since 2013, the number of companies has also grown to 1,100 within two years, from 300 companies registered with PSEB about three years ago.
