Continuing to outrun any and all competitors, the man with golden run added another gold medal to Usain Bolt crown on Sunday as he ran the Rio Olympics 100 m in just 9.81 seconds.
Jamaican Usain Bolt’s feat marks an unprecedented third Olympic victory in the sprint.
But, with speed and stamina, he has displayed, Bolt appears all set to help Jamaica in two more runs – 200 m and 4 X 100 m.
The Rio Olympic fans will witness a unique triple triple, if Bolt scoops up two more golds.
“Somebody said I can become immortal,” he said.
“Two more medals to go and I can sign off. Immortal. It’s a good start. There will always be doubters. But I’m in better shape than last season,” said Bolt, who really has an opportunity to cement his immortality as one of the greatest athletes of all time.
