Hillary Clinton continues to lead Donald Trump by a margin of six points a week before November 8 election, a new poll said Tuesday.
A new Washington Post-Schar School poll carried out from Thursday through Sunday, shows no immediate drop in Clinton’s support following the FBI decision last week to look into newly discovered email on her aide’s computer.
The Democratic candidate draws her support from diverse population communities and voters around Washington.
Clinton leads Republican rival Trump, 48 percent to 42 percent, among likely voters statewide, the Post reported.
Libertarian Gary Johnson has six percent and Green Party nominee Jill Stein has two percent support among likely voters.
According to the Post, vice presidential candidates, Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine (D) and Indiana Gov. Mike Pence (R), are bolstering support among those who dislike their respective running mates.
The survey also reveals that Virginians dislike both candidate.
Findings that appear consistent with trends seen through the election season, say 60 percent of likely voters are unfavorable toward Trump and 57 percent are unfavorable toward Clinton.
Around three-quarters of voters say Clinton is too willing to bend the rules, while nearly 6 in 10 say Trump is biased against women and minorities, say findings reported by the Post.
