Pakistani chai wala, who shot to international fame recently with much social media focus on his handsome looks, is all set to make it to silver screen.
Arshad Khan, who has had a fairytale like rise to prominence from the obscurity of his tea stall in Islamabad, will star in film Kabeer, which he has picked after looking at a number of offers.
The blue-eyed tea seller – as he his commonly known – has alreday made his debut in the glamor world with appearances in Bridal Couture Week (BCW) 2016 and a music video.
Now he will soon leave for England for his debut film project.

“I was being offered a number of films, but I didn’t like the roles and scripts that were offered, so I turned them down,” Arshad Khan said in interview.
The Internet sensation will be playing the role of hero’s brother in film Kabeer.
“Even in this film I was offered a number of roles but I felt the character of hero’s brother suited my personality the most.
No doubt, my role in this film is very important,” he said.
The chai wala would not disclose his deal amount.
“Whatever amount I am being offered is the equivalent of 1 crore to me because what really matters is signing my first film,” said Khan, while adding that he is quite excited about starting his film career that will soon involve trips abroad.
Under unexpected media glare, Khan had initially resisted the idea of becoming a film actor.
The 18-year-old tea seller became an overnight sensation when photographer Javeria Ali’s click went viral on Instagram.
He has been appearing on several TV channels since then. Even photographer Ali said she had no idea that the image would get such wild publicity on the web.
But that turned out to be a momentous moment for Khan. In no time, Khan had landed a fashion modeling contract. Now he has an official Facebook page and a team of managers and advisers.
“I have been told I have beautiful eyes by many girls but nothing ever happened. Since my picture has gone viral, I realise that I am famous now,” Khan said.
The chai wala has also been adjudged as among the sexiest men in Asia by a UK based magazine.
The title was awarded by Eastern Eye, an Asian weekly newspaper which released its list of Asia’s attractive men and women after conducting a poll on social media.
