Nick Foles, the Eagles quarterback and new star made a match of it against Tom Brady in Eagles’ first Super Bowl victory. New England Patriots were looking for their sixth Super Bowl win.
After Foles thrilled the crowd at the U.S. Bank Stadium Minneapolis, Minnesota with his swift and intelligent play, Bradam Graham, sealed the 41-33 victory for Philadelphia Eagles with a dash through the offensive line and strip sack of Brady.
Foles was adjudged the Most Valuable Player of the Super Bowl after a dazzling display which included 28 of 43 passes for 373 yards and three touchdowns.
“I felt calm all night, we are such a great group of guys, we felt confident. We just went out there and played football. We’ve been dreaming of this since we were little kids,” Foles said.
