The 9th edition of Jewels of Asia Gala will mark recognition of the best small business and corporate performers on May 10 while bringing together entrepreneurs and policymakers.
“It will be both a celebration of entrepreneurial spirit and an opportunity to interact and connect,” says Dr. Cindy Shao, President of hosts Asian American Chamber of Commerce.
In addition to awards celebration, the event will feature speakers from wide-ranging fields of expertise and officials including Holly Ham, Executive Director of the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, Peter J. Cazamias, Associate Administrator for the Office of International Trade, U.S. SBA Esther Lee, Former Virginia Secretary of Commerce & Trade.
“We are expecting 300 guests with great support and participation of the businesses and sponsors,” Shao told Views and News.

The chamber will present AACC BUSINESS OF THE YEAR AWARD in five categories known as Small Business of the Year Award, Company of the Year Award, Women & Veteran Owned Business of the Year Award, New Business of the Year Award, and Non-Profit of the Year Award.
Another award, named as AACC LEADERSHIP OF THE YEAR AWARD will recognizes successful entrepreneurs as Young Professional of the Year Award (under age 40 years old), Business Leader of Year Award, Community Leader of the Year Award and Mentor of the Year Award.
