AACC to host diversity businesses and govt. leaders on January 17

Business owners and leaders can network and learn about opportunities

Asian American Chamber of Commerce will host a networking event on January 17,  bringing together diversity businesses and dedicated Government contractors and supplier leaders.

Supplier diversity teams from Washington Gas Light (WGL) and Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) will speak about opportunities that diversity businesses in the area can access.

The business owners will also have the opportunity to interact with representatives of federal agencies and regional utilities.

AACC Diversity Event

“We want to kickstart the new year with this happy hour to help diversity, minority and women-owned businesses learn about opportunities,” AACC President Cinday Shao says.

Shao believes that such networking events are critical to update the members about how they can qualify and compete for opportunities existing in the government sector.
