In a rare interview, Kate Middleton has explained how she has enjoyed her five-day visit to Pakistan which saw Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge relish the diversity of the South Asian country.
Kate, who wore an array of top Pakistani designer outfits – Shalwar and Kameez – during the visit left her fans in awe as they admired her immaculate appearances.
“It’s been fantastic, we’ve seen a lot of Pakistan, a huge variety, it’s amazing seeing some of the geography but then to see some of the community activities like this has been really special,” she told CNN in a brief interview, which the channel said was her first since her wedding to William.
The British royal couple regaled a series of orchestrated events in the capital Islamabad, a visit to Lahore’s historical Badshahi Mosque and a trip to the mountainous north of Pakistan, where they saw Chitral and experienced the colorful Kalash culture.
Prince William lent his voice to calls for action to stem climate change as he and Kate witnessed how environmental changes are impacting the beauty of Nature and livelihoods of people.
The trip also highlighted Pakistan’s tourism potential and some of its famous sites, which have only recently begun attracting foreign visitors after more about two decades of instability due to fight against militancy and ramifications of the Afghan war.

Kate’s tastefully tailored dress and the hat with a feather curving up from thee front over forehead reminded many of late Princess Diana’s visit to Kalash valley.
William also got an album of her mother Princess Diana’s visit to Pakistan. Diana had a special relationship with Pakistan.

The visit held out equal importance for the royals as they had the opportunity to express their care for the distressed and patients and welfare of children, the causes they champion.

“I think William and I really wanted to come and see a SOS children’s village like this,” Kate said of the couple’s visit to a SOS village outside of the capital.
“There’s so many vulnerable women here but they’ve really used their positivity and the support that the village here provides them to support and protect the next generation, the children in their care and give them the best possible start to their future lives.”
