As if curious guessing about the cross-border love story “Kaaf Kangana” were not enough in the midst of Pakistan-India tensions, the release of the movie’s item song has further excited fans.
With a pleasing tune, the “Khabon Main” song feature actress Neelam Muneer, adding to the curiosity of film followers.
In the dance track, a visibly happy-go-lucky girl relishes telling her experience when she came over to Pakistan from India in a dream, to be surrounded by some jolly men in Lahore.
Neelam’s appearance in the song has evoked a mixed response, with some criticizing parts of the song while others declaring it perfectly normal.
But the actor has defended her decision to play the track.
“I did this song only because this movie is a project of ISPR. Perhaps this is the first and last item song of my life. But you all know that what ever I do, I own it and I do it with pride. Pakistan key liay meri jan hamesha hazir hay. I’m sure you all will go and watch this movie. Enjoy,” she wrote in an Instagram post.
The song has been written by Sahir Ali Bagga and sung by Aima Baig.
The film, said to be a love triangle, has been written and directed by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar.Sami Khan, Eshal Fayyaz and Ayesha Omar star in the movie to be released globally on October 25.
