Washington area’s fall fascination

With fall finally here, photographer David Salik captures some scenes

This year fall has arrived a little late in Washington metro area. After a long hot summer, trees did not change their colors, making photographers to wait for the right time before they go on a photo spree.

Views and News contributor David Salik captured some of the breathtaking scenes around Potomac River.

With white fleecing clouds in the blue sky, the background is crystal clear while many shades of red, yellow and golden lend charm to the scenic places.

The pictures were taken over the weekend.
