Bollywood superstar Rishi Kapoor passed away Thursday morning, a day after another top actor Irfan Khan lost his battle to cancer, leaving millions of film fans in shock.
Fellow actors, artists, critics and people paid tribute to the two stars, who performed in some memorable movies and won praise and high awards for their versatile performances.
Rishi, 67, shot to fame with a musical romance Bobby in early 1970s, and came of a family of actors.
He died of leukemia, which he battled for two years, according to a Kapoor family statement.

Irfan Khan, with his enigmatic eyes, acted in Indian, British and American movies including 2008 Slumdog Millionaire, Jurassic Park and 2017 Hindi Medium.
Khan hailed from a Pathan family of Rajasthan.
He was a versatile actor, and played several roles to the entertainment of millions of art lovers around the world.
