I am not what you see
for we are not
what we seem to be.
Yet we are bound
heart-to-heart
Thread by thread
forever and ever
not just on darkening days
and illuminating nights.
In our moments of mystery
we soar beyond
our dreamlike life
and swim upon
wave after wave
to the unknown edges
of the vast cosmos
in search of our origin.
