In love
I find my latent strength
Not to take all the prizes
Out there
But be part
Of all that is
Wholesome
In truth
And beauty.
I let go off
The egoistic impulses,
See a way to enlighten
My dormant self
As if empowered
With the creative fire
In some Agni or Zoroastrian temple.
And winged with
Rumi and Iqbalian lights.
Where does love spring from?
Perhaps, since the great genesis
Love has emerged
Out of a thousand noble constructs –
Not a misinterpreted story
Of seductions and destructs.
Oh, love is much more –
A soul connection
All the way to the Creator
From the Adam and Eve garden
To the garden in each human heart
That pulsates with the sweet pain
Of partings and trysts.
