It made a stunning scene, a picture perfect moment when I saw a white crane seated calmly on the fence over a back stream.
With large red artificial flowers in my view, I thought it would make a fascinating contrast of colors on a summer day, green trees, a white whooping crane and red flowers, looking almost natural.
Cranes live near water, where they find their food and can live up to 24 years.
