Pakistani leaders and people hailed Assistant Superintendent of Police Suhai Aziz Talpur, who led a courageous response to terror attacked on the Chinese consulate in Karachi on Friday.
Talpur, who is from lower Sindh, hit headlines when three terrorists attacked the diplomatic mission of a country that Pakistan considers as its all-weather friend and one of its closes allies.
Two police officers lost their lives as security forces countered the attackers.
As the attack unfolded, Talpur dashed to the Consulate to engage terrorists.
“Suhai Aziz, you have set an example of bravery. These are the women who are ahead of everyone,” Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said.

Inspector General Sindh Police and civil society activists lauded her for her courage.
The security forces killed all three attackers.
