The nation’s capital sizzled as the July sun scorched, making the 90 plus temperatures feel like 110 Fahrenheit. On July 23, photographer and Views and News contributor David Salik captured this image of the Capitol Hill.
This was also a day of diplomacy on the Capitol Hill for many Pakistanis and South Asians as Prime Minister Imran received a warm reception from Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi and US-Pakistan Congressional Caucus on the last day of his visit.
