Greta Thunberg jolts world leaders on climate action

Teenage activist challenges world leaders at UN Summit

Greta Thunberg, 16-year-old climate activist, Monday jolted the world leaders on climate action, saying the empty promises have stolen her future and now the planet faces extinction.

She was blunt in challenging the world leaders for their failure to stem climate change with her repeated words: How dare you?

She said the leaders are still “not mature enough to tell it like it is”.

“You are failing us, But the young people are starting to understand your betrayal. The eyes of all future generations are upon you, and if you choose to fail us, I say, we will never forgive you,” she said speaking her mind at the Climate Summit in New York.
