Princess
The people’s princess loved by all, and cruelly taken away…
That dark night down inside a tunnel claimed her short life…
An event that still haunts us all as the years roll by…
And still those questions are being asked …
Newspapers ,broadcasts, and lots of debates still go on…
Her beautiful face and her gracefulness are seen in publications…
And many have kept their photographs and framed them …
Mantle pieces and shelves and office desks the princess rests…
America loved her and she loved to go there…
She visited many many times ,she was loved by all…
Her fairytale wedding to a handsome prince…
Drew crowds from all over the world…
A day to remember was to end in sorrow…
On that fateful night In Paris on that dark night …
And claimed the life of our beautiful princess.
Oriental Iris…
With skin as white as the lilly…
She was wearing the scent of the lotus blossom…
And dressed in yellow silk…
She served me the traditional Japanese tea…
And later on she allowed me to kiss her…
When saying our goodbyes but only on her beautiful cheeks…
I asked her what her name was but she did not reply…
Just as I was about to leave she slipped me a small piece of paper…
And then she said goodbye , but it did not have her name written on …
It was just a simple drawing of a beautiful black iris…
So I gathered that this was her name
And dressed in yellow silk…
